Wear this tee and do Edgar Allen Poe proud.

Once upon a midnight dreary, while I pondered, weak and weary,

Over many a quaint and curious volume of forgotten lore,

While I nodded, nearly napping, suddenly there came a tapping,

As of some one gently rapping, rapping at my chamber door. “

“'Tis some visitor,” I muttered, “tapping at my chamber door—

Only this, and nothing more.”

Edgar Allan Poe's "The Raven," first published in 1845, is one of his most famous and enduring works, known for its melodic and dramatic qualities. The poem tells the story of a grieving man who is visited by a mysterious raven, only capable of speaking the word "Nevermore." This encounter occurs in the dead of night, with the raven perching "upon a bust of Pallas" above the man's chamber door. The man, initially amused by the raven's presence, soon descends into despair as he interprets the bird's repeated utterance of "Nevermore" as a prophecy of his own doomed fate, particularly concerning his longing for the lost Lenore and his yearning for relief from sorrow.
